Waking up by the rumours of my thoughts
A poem about thoughts and a calming image to clear them out
I just woke up,
And the first thing,
The first thing I experienced,
It was my thoughts.
Loud and clear,
Did they tell me,
What I should do.
Is that a good idea?
And what do you think of that?
Is that new business line,
Really what you want?
And did your friends,
Did they really wrote you,
Wrote that last text?
Did you make sure,
That you pay your bills?
And did you really do all,
All you could have done?
It is not good,
Not good that you,
You think so much,
Get into action!
And action will come.
But dont forget,
Forget to find your passion,
And are you sure,
This is the real deal?
Are you sure,
This is what you want to build?
Are you sure,
They are happy with you,
And you are happy with you,
And you get some shit done?
Should we check the news,
Or should we better get to work?
Should we take a run,
Or should we work out in the gym?
What if that is not cool,
And what if we better build sunflowers,
Sunflowers on the wall,
To make us all happy,
And build up our ideas.
Thoughts,
They come in waves,
They rattle the cages,
They never endingly run.
I try my meditation,
Try to calm them down,
Focus on the action,
Focus on the plan.
But I still wonder,
Does anyone has that?
What do they tell me?
Why are they so loud?
What are these thoughts,
That they come in,
Come in every morning,
Letting me wondering,
And questioning,
And wrestling,
With the world,
With my decisions,
And my calmness,
In my life.
They are all too strange,
All too real,
To be ignored,
And yet,
They feel,
They feel like I should simply let them go.
Life with thoughts,
What is that?
Life without thoughts,
What is that?
Life in the here and now,
Life in doing and being,
This is the life,
The only life that counts.
While my thoughts come up,
Over and over again,
Life happens,
Happens step by step,
Despite the thoughts.
It’s a good reminder,
Letting the thoughts,
Just flow,
Floating in the wide sea,
The sea of our inner ocean,
Wirling and circling,
Running and smoothing,
But by themselves,
As they pull the clouds of fog,
And rattle the waters deep.
But by us,
On the surface,
They remain still,
The water is still,
And the fish swim in soft,
In clear,
In transparent waters.
The ocean is wavering a storm,
A storm of chaos,
A storm of its kind,
But the sun,
The fish,
The beauty of the wideness,
Of the ocean itself,
The boat,
The calmness,
The beauty,
They calm it down,
they nurture it,
They give it food.
Food of love,
And food of warmth,
Food of joy,
And food of laughter.
And with the touch of light,
With the touch of the universe,
The ocean becomes calm,
It settles down,
It gives calmness to itself.
The fish swim deeper,
Deeper into dark,
And they see the world,
The world down there,
Having made transparent,
Transparent for the outer world.
Octopusses and mantas,
Sea eels and snakes,
Deep down, the big ones,
They wake up,
Wake up by the light.
Showing their real skin,
And showing who they really have been.
The world it opens up,
For that moment of light,
Shining bright,
And warming the deep inner form.
The thoughts,
The ocean,
They become calm,
They become full of light,
Full of warmth,
And full of shine.
The thoughts,
For today,
For the time being,
Brought to stillness,
Brought to calmness,
Brought to another day.
It is time to use that silence,
The silence of the morning,
To get up,
And enjoy the day! :)
