The One Dollar Challenge: Check

How I solved the one dollar challenge and how this automatically turned into solving Challenge Two in the same call.

I promised myself - no writing and book reading before not taking action and following the book step by step without skipping the challenges.

Because where is the point in reading it all and not taking action when the whole idea of the book is to take action?

So here I found myself wanting to take action and then completely forgetting about it 😂

I went for a drink with friends and thought - oh well, that is awesome, these people in the evening, having one drink too many maybe, it will be easy to get one of them to give me a dollar.

The moment I went out with them, I totally forgot about the challenge. I had a fantastic evening but the challenge was not solved and I wanted to read on.

So how to make that work?

I realized I slipped away, tried to find excuses and doing other stuff instead of doing the challenge.

I even tried to convince myself that I could put in a bit of a sneak peak and read some more pages of the book before doing the first challenge 😂

Oh, so many excuses.

But finally, today in the morning I thought - ok, whom could I talk to who would not say - ‘oh, Frederike, really? Another idea?’ and would be willing to support me.

And soon after I called a good friend and told her about the challenge and what I was to accomplish. I asked her and yes, she said yes and was willing to support me! 😊

Here is the proof:

If you do not speak German, then here is the translation - Hi Frederike, {your friend} did send you €1. Message from {your friend}: “Good luck!”.

Isn’t that nice?

And not even that. She is now with me on that journey, she knows about it and as an exchange for the €1, I promised her to give her updates about my entrepreneurial journey.

We then talked more and I had a small peak view into the other parts of the book to check for the next challenge - and guess what, she helped me solve that one too! 😊 Or atleast she was one person who gave me an answer to that one too.
